Duck: I have no school either, it is Easter which means we get two weeks holiday.

My gosh, I do feel your pain! I often have the urge to defenestrate my computer.

Oh, Birdnut, I have something to ask you: You own fish? That's really cool. Fish are cool. What types?

Lots and lots, let's see if I can remember them all...

46 gallon tank:
3 Yellow Labs
3 Acei Cichlids
3 Jewel Cichlids

26 gallon tank:
1 Dwarf Gourami
3 Guppies
3 Platys; one is pregnant though, so we're gonna have lots more... Oh boy...
4 Lemon Tetras
1 Blushing Angelfish
1 Red Velvet Swordtail

55 gallon tank:
4 Long-finned Rosy Barbs; one of these is also pregnant, or perhaps bloated?
1 gorgeous wildtype Altum angelfish/Captive-bred angelfish hybrid
1 Golden Gourami
1 Spotted Climbing Perch
1 Red-tailed black Shark
1 Red Severum

Gee, I'd love so much to own fish, they sound really cool. And exotic

My sister has a betta, that about sums up our aquatic life in the house.

How do you keep up with the tanks?

Yeah, that's almost 130 gallons! It's an awful lot of water when you're living in Australia. I can't imagine ever using that much water

My total fish count amounts to zilch :loll:

I have my handy dandy little Eheim gravel cleaner! It's a piece of cake to use, just insert batteries and dunk it into the water, then you're of and running. That's how I clean the gravel. As for cleaning the water, that's another story... I have to use the big honkin' hose thingymabob (Forget what it's called, LOL). That goes all the way through the house, out the front door, and connects to the hose where it obtains fresh water from. It's a bit of a pain, but luckily only a once a week chore.
