Is that much easier? I've never owned anything besides chickens.

Lots and lots, let's see if I can remember them all...

46 gallon tank:
3 Yellow Labs
3 Acei Cichlids
3 Jewel Cichlids

26 gallon tank:
1 Dwarf Gourami
3 Guppies
3 Platys; one is pregnant though, so we're gonna have lots more... Oh boy...
4 Lemon Tetras
1 Blushing Angelfish
1 Red Velvet Swordtail

55 gallon tank:
4 Long-finned Rosy Barbs; one of these is also pregnant, or perhaps bloated?
1 gorgeous wildtype Altum angelfish/Captive-bred angelfish hybrid
1 Golden Gourami
1 Spotted Climbing Perch
1 Red-tailed black Shark
1 Red Severum

...

Okay, I have one thing to post to that! And it's

Gee, I'd love so much to own fish, they sound really cool. And exotic

I love them so much, they are a lot of fun to watch. When you just feel like daydreaming or stopping to think, it's nice to be able to stare at the pretty fish swimming about rather than just a... wall or something.

My favorites are the Red Severum, Spotted Climbing Perch, the Guppies, the Swordtail, the Dwarf Gourami, and the hybrid Angel.

Yeah, that's almost 130 gallons! It's an awful lot of water when you're living in Australia. I can't imagine ever using that much water

My total fish count amounts to zilch :loll:

I know, it's a lot of water. It sure adds up doesn't it...

...Yet I want a Saltwater tank now.

Gee, and how many more species could you keep in that one?

I know, sometimes it would just be nice to zone out and keep your eye on a bunch of fish swimmin' around

Staring at a wall: something I specialise in doing. I really need to buy some fish.

Climbing Perches sound interesting. I'm going to find an image on Google.

DESCRIPTION - A torpedo looking, perch shaped fish. The body is elongate, the dorsal fin has a longer base than the picky, dorsal and picky reach backwards to the beginning of the caudal and that the posterior edge of the gill cover bears two strong spines. Colour is of a 'muddy' appearance of olive-grey. Young specimens have a dark spot on the caudal peduncle (point at which the body ends and tail starts). Young are often confused with Ctenopoma species.

Those aren't mine, but I do have some pictures of some of my fish. Let me pull 'em up for you.
