I know, I love him. He is always bold and never hiding, swimming where I can see him parade about with his lovely spotted fins. I tried naming them, but I am not creative with fish names.

I've almost given up on Bettas. Two of mine ended up like yours, one of them accidentally committed suicide. O-e

I feel so bad too, he was beautiful. A crowntail with orange-salmon-pink scales and fins and light blue eyes. A little one too...On the bright side, my oldest one lived until 3 years old and was also very pretty; butterfly patterns on his fins and what not. My only remaining one now was okay at the store, came home really sick, and nearly died. Thankfully I was able to nurse him back to health and he's now really healthy. Maybe I'll take a picture of him later.

And forget out the female bettas, whenever I bought them they died from something due to them seeing my males and wanting to mate; thus making them fill up with too many eggs and killing them because I didn't fell like having fry.

Is it easy to buy those climbers? I might try those.
