Crane's travel across the clearing slowed abrubtly as he face met a large tree trunk. The impact rendered her immediately unconscious, and her whole body immediately slumped. The loud 'Thwack!' echoed through the clearing as a wolf attacked Jake.

Crane's eyelid's flickered a bit, and she slowly regained consciousness, remembering what had happened. Her head hurt so badly.........
she let out a whisper of a groan, still lying there.

Crane slowly got up, shook her head, then lowered it, baring her teeth and growling at Ben and his mate.
