The moon drifted nonchalantly, casting lazy beams of white light down to earth, giving the navy blue hues a burst of pearlescent color.

Beneath its rays, partially obstructed by the umbrella of leaves overhead, Lostcry watched the clan bustle about in the twilight. Her tail twitched before curling around her paws, her thoughts somewhere beyond the immediate problem of food shortages and territory violations. The moon reflected twice in her deep green eyes, her eyes half-lidded with confusion and tiredness. The consequences of her actions tolled heavily on her sleep, like an annoying, buzzing fly that just wouldn't leave. Something had to be done.

Decided, she rose stiffly to her paws, and crept quietly down into the camp.

Quote:
"Hey Lostcry" Tawnypelt called from the food pile

Wearily, Lostcry glanced at her, but didn't smile. She flicked her tail, beckoning Tawnypelt to follow.

Tawnypelt glanced at Brambleberry, wondering what was up. She shrugged and quickly followed Lostcry "Whats wrong?"

Nerves taught, she glanced back over her shoulder and tilted her head to indicate the medicine den, which was currently rather unoccupied. She nodded to Brambleberry, indicating that the warrior could join them.

Without another sound she lead them into the dimly lit medicine den, the various herbs and leaves glowing oddly in the moonlight.

Lostcry sat in one of the corners, expression troubled while she curled her tail around her paws. For a moment she stared at Brambleberry and Tawnypelt, head tilted to one side as she tried to decide exactly how to proceed.

Finally, she sighed, pointed to herself with one paw, then pointed out into the depths of the western forest. She traced the sun's path through the sky twice.
