Sungold appeared in front of her. "I want to come" she said quietly.

Lostcry had to smile wryly. It had scarcely been ten minutes and she had only gone fifty paces. This journey was going to take a bit longer than she had expected. But Sungold was clearly anxious, and she pushed these annoyed thoughts out of her head.

With a swish of her tail, she shook her head. She pointed to Sungold, then to the Songclan camp, eyes pleading, but gaze firm. Where she was going, no cat could follow.

With a long, low sigh, Lostcry gazed up at the moon. Time seemed to be flying, and she had not even got to the border yet. Although it was against her better judgment, she turned to Sungold, and gave a slow nod.

Before they resumed the journey, Lostcry held up a paw, and gazed at Sungold seriously. She pointed at the warrior, and put a paw to her lips, then brush it away hurriedly. Under no circumstances was she to speak to the cats where they were going--she was to do all the negotiations.

(She's not leader yet. As far as I know

I think Gerbil gave me the go-ahead, but I'm not assuming anything at this point. Anyway, Lostcry needs to have a way to communicate if she's going to be leader
