«We Could be Heroes»

Aubrey was now at home in her room on her bed, cuddling her cats. SuperFluff, a huge super long haired brown tabby was by her, along with Webly, his huge medium haired brown tabby brother. Super Fluff shed all over her. Selby lay on top of her. Mabel the smaller white fluffy female cat came in her room. The she cat delicately hopped on top of her bed. When she was utterly covered in cats, Aubrey's parents came into her room. They kissed her good night. Her mother said "do you want to know a secret?" Aubrey knew what was coming next, because they always did that. She was an only child.
"Yes," she replied.
"Well," whispered her mother. "You are my favorite little girl in the whole, wide world..." She said. She kissed her on her head. Aubrey smiled and thought about that. She fell asleep.

(I apologize for the short and lazy post, I always end of writing these when I'm tired.
-_____-)

Calynn looked at the interrogator, "I-I had a nice childhood. For the most part. My parents loved me until they died, our house burned down when I was about seven. I managed to put it out eventually, but they didn't make it. Yesterday's events... Yesterday's events were... Well, I'm not really sure how they affected me. No, I've never really traveled. In all honestly, my greatest regret was not helping the others more. I'd lie to save my friends. I had a great time in school, math was probably my favorite subject. I just loved to learn new things! My mother did. I don't know how to exactly explain it, but she was always just there for me."

(How did she afford all these pets?! O_O I mean, two species require a special diet and she has multiples of each! Not to mention, most of them are expensive. XD I still want you, Elvis. >:^})
(1.She lived with her parents then. She's only 15)

I don't have time to finish this now before I leave, so pardon the absence of half of the questions....
~The repulsive smile only spread farther as Tayn's faux replica looked up to face Ash. She was clearly on the verge of indirectly harming herself in a reckless attempt to free herself from this exact repeat of her past experience with confinement. "Now, I'm just going to ask you a few more. Can you do that for me, sweetie?"
The urge to wretch had never been stronger before. Tayn never, under any circumstance, would've called her sweetie, and for this... this.. FAKE to... It took Ash all she had left to remain seated.
"Have you ever been detained before?"
The room spun into a jarring tunnel of unnecessarily disinfected grays and whites. Of course I have, Ash thought bitterly, and there's a 99% chance you already know that. Especially considering the fact you already scanned my brain to find out that being Tayn would bring out the best response in me. "Yes."
The young woman looked up for a brief second, her eyes locking with Ash's again, clearly reaching into her mind and shifting through it once more. "I see. By who?"
Ash bit down hard on her lip. Experience told her that lying would only reap her a flurry of even more questions, and yet, she still hesitated for a long moment before alotting the truth its loathed exit. "By the government, ma'am. They found me as a threat... to their privacy."
The woman's silence was the most worrying response she could've received. Even an immediate bark for Ash to be returned to a cell would've been more comforting. But there was no way to tell what was running through that calculating mind, no momentary chance of reading the cruelly pursed lips.~

Akira had watched it all play out, she wasn't good with words and she had a bunch of fox tails coming out of her . Somehow she didn't think it would be wise for her to try and address the mother. She had to say though that she didn't feel good about it all, even though in theory she should have. She noticed the paper at Zens feet and picked it up. "Hey guys look at this, they thought she was dead? What in the heck happened?" She wondered as she passed the paper to Crow.
"Let me see that." Zen grabbed the paper out of Crow's hand,"Why did they think she was dead? Her mom didn't seem exactly grateful to see her daughter again either." Zen sighed.
