Tayn laughed nervously. "I was, but..." she looked at the tree, "I... almost killed you." She said blinked and looked back at River. "Crow said that Firestein has her mom." she said glancing over her shoulder at Leona, who seemed unphased by the statement only more determined to keep going.

She didn't have her backpack, it had been left in the cave. She looked around for some thing to use as a bandage. Her eyes stopped on the tree and she swallowed hard. she slowly looked back at him. "you're not going to like this suggestion..."

I'm not exactly sure what happened but I thought that if we could get back to town, maybe we could try to track them down."
