«We Could Be Legends»

Toby saw someone aim a gun at Misty's turned back. As the person shot at her, Toby jumped in front. The bullet hit him in the stomach. He stumbled backwards, clutching at his stomach. He killed the person who shot him, and looked around. Nobody noticed he was hurt, luckily. His black sweater hid the blood. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt as much as he would have thought.
Misty heard the sickening thud of a bullet hitting its target, she knew that sound all too well. She looked up from her daughter and tried to locate who it hit but she couldnt find them so she went back to her daughter.

Toby pressed up against the wall away from the rain of bullets. He dug around in his backpack and pulled out a roll of gauze. He lifted his shirt up just enough to stuff his wound with the gauze. It wouldn't do too much, but it would help stop the bleeding. He duck taped the gauze on & put his supplies back into his bag. His ears were ringing, but he could here Alpha barking like crazy. Poor buddy. I feel so bad, he must think I'm a jerk. He thought. He looked at his hand, which was now covered in blood. He wiped it on his pants. I really hope Jessi is okay. He stepped out from his corner and continued to shoot the Pure.
Misty looked up from her daughter again and looked at Toby, his shirt around his stomach was a bit puffier then it should be.
"Toby." She said while getting up."Did you get shot?" She asked worriedly.

Wolfram whipped his head around to look at her, His pupils narrowed."No one is going to die, Do you hear me?"He hissed."Not if I can help it anyway."He set her down for a minute, maybe it would shut her up, and keep them hidden."Keep still, will you? Dont go any-"His words where cut off when a masked man burst around the corner, holding a knife. The male made a attempt to go for Bleddyn, but before the knife could hit her, Wolfram shoved in front of her, the tip of the knife digging into his flesh. Agony ripped through his arm, but he could ignore it...if he tried hard enough. He pushed the masked person against the wall, arms trembling on both of them, the knife still in the guards hand. Wolfram clenched his teeth, holding the male against the wall as best he could, blood dripping onto the ground.
With the help of another considerate wall, Bleddyn heaved herself up with alacrity, leg infirmity forced subordinate, and surged up alongside Wolfram. She took one look at the both of them at a trembling impasse and reached for the guard's shaking hand. She pulled the defiant fist up slightly, then slammed it down hard and ripped the displaced knife from his grasp. Not giving the masked man's audible gasp of pain a lick of attention, she coldly observed the knife and turned it over a few times. Wolfram's stolen blood leaked into the rivets of her palm. His blood is on my hands.
.....
Why am I finding that funny?

She tossed one callous glance at Wolfram before worming her way beneath their arms and plunging the blade hard up into their attacker's heaving chest cavity.

"Er- no, I'm fine. Get everyone out of here, before someone dies." Toby said. His eyes were slightly fogged over from the pain. He had spoken too soon about the bullet not hurting. Now that the adrenaline was wearing off, it was starting to feel like someone dropped acid on his stomach.

Wolfram let out a gasp of pain, releasing the masked man, and the creature dressed in black dropped onto the ground, blood pouring from his chest. He put his hand in his arm, and pulled it away, looking at it. His pale skin was coated in blood. Just great. EXACTLY what I need right now. He looked at Bleddyn."T-thank you."He stuttered."You saved me." Normally, he would have been humiliated to be saved by a girl, but instead he was thankful.

Misty glared at him then suddenly ran up to him and flipped up his shirt, revealing the bandages that already had blood seeping through them. "You weren't eh? Then whats that?" Misty points to the floor and follows the blood trail right up to where Toby was standing. "You have a lot of evidence stacked against you, Toby. If you want to lie at least make it convincible."
She sits him down and kneels next to him on one knee. She formed an ice knife that looked like it was freshly sharpened. Fog poured from the blade and she placed it beside her and gently lifted up Toby's shirt then started to unwrap the bandages.
"Toby, son, take out those contacts, violet suits you better than blue." She murmured sweetly.

"Really, I-I'm fine." Toby stuttered, gently pushing her hand away. "Focus on getting everyone out. I can get it fixed later." His hand covered his wound, keeping her from touching it. He coughed up a little blood. His was starting to see black spots in his vision.
