Aaaand now I'm grumpy again. As the cold of the outside seizes my skin again, I give her a growl of my own "I don't want to explain myself Mom." I spat, realizing I didn't really have a good explanation myself. Why had I started the fight? I hadn't meant to. Not inside.

Apparently there's still adreniadre in my veins, because I kept on talking, "Let me back in. I'm cold, I'm bruised, and I want to be left ALONE."

My voice started out as a monotone, but creciendoed until I was screaming at Mom. What am I doing? Stop, you idiot, you're going to get in trouble!

Gage, meanwhile, was lost. He glanced from Zion to this strange boy and back. Were dogs allowed in here? It behaved well enough, was it a service dog? Did it matter after what had just happened? And cleaning? It wasn't like he was getting paid for it. "Er, um, no that's okay. We can handle it. Most everyone has left, anyway..." He said nervously. In fact, nearly half the restaurant was vacant. Plates lay on every other table, some probably having taken the chance to sneak out without paying.
Misty pins her ears flat against her head and bares her teeth.
"You have no excuse, do you?! You just started fighting for no reason because you felt like it correct?! Delilah, you can't do that here and you know it! You'll get arrested or killed for acting like that! This isn't Elemians, you won't be praised for taking out a Were-Cat here! The kinds of Were-Cats here are pitiful compared to the ferocious ones on Elemians! If you were expecting praise from me or your father you very well know we don't take lightly to violence without a cause!"
Misty's voice lowers into her almost wolf voice, but then she corrects herself and reverts back to her human voice.
"Delilah. You're a lot like me, I was your age when I met up with the Heroes and started our adventure. You have Elemian blood in you and I know its hard to control, but I learned to control it and I can help you learn to control it."
Misty eases a little and softens her gaze on Delilha
"You just need to understand that random acts of violence here, and even on Elemians could get you killed, and I never want to see you or your brother hurt or killed. So please, listen to me." Misty then steps away from the door and gives Delilah a moment to think.

"Okay good, if there was a bug on me I would like to know, I hate bugs. Not as much as I hate cats though, cats are the worst." Panic flashed on Toby's face. "You don't have a cat, do you? If you do, I'm sorry if I offended you." He stood up and walked to the trash can with a handful of glass and threw it away.

Zion chuckles a little, "I'll let you know, and no I don't like cats, I don't understand them. Cats hate me anyways..." Then he quietly adds, "just like everyone at shool."

"Okay thanks." Toby said smiling. His voice turned serious. "I'm sure not everyone hates you. You're cool guy. Don't let that get to your head though. Trash can?" He held a trash can out, in case he needed to throw something out.

Zion cracks a smile, "Thanks... T-that means a lot." Zion then dumps the trash that he was collecting in the trash can that Toby offered him.
"What's your name? Mines Zion."

"No prob." Toby set the trash can down. "Toby. My names Toby. This is Alpha." He pointed at Alpha.

"Toby's a nice name..." Zion then looks at Alpha, his eyes lighting up at the sight of the Doberman. "Can I pet him?"

"Thanks. So is Zion." Toby said. He added awkwardly "I'm sorry, he's a service dog. Your wings are really cool. When I was a kid I always wanted to fly."

Alice had been walking with everyone else mostly just keeping to herself. When she got the strong sense of being watched. It was different from before, when those people were just staring.

She glanced around trying to not be obvious about it. A figure near the building turned away around the corner as her eyes fell on it. She looked up the hill, another person slipped behind a tree before she could see their face.

"Uh, guys? Maybe we should go back to the IHOP." She said nervously.

"Thanks. So is Zion." Toby said. He added awkwardly "I'm sorry, he's a service dog. Your wings are really cool. When I was a kid I always wanted to fly."
"Thanks, and oh ok, at least I asked instead of just petting him without your permission." Zion then looks back at his wings and flaps them slowly. "Yeah they are pretty cool I guess." He says smiling "Flying is really fun actually if you want, on a sunny day I could show you what its like, see if you like it or not."

"Yeah, I've had kids start grabbing him, even in his more noticeable vest." Toby said. "Sounds interesting, but how could I if I don't have wings?" He looked around. Besides dents around the store, it was now mostly cleaned up. "Someone's gonna need to mop & fix some of the furniture and walls, but other than that it looks pretty clean."

Brisa gave up trying to identify the wet bird-feeding guy and continued glancing around. Finally she happened to glance up and made eye contact with the cat-boy, who looked soaked, miserable, and a little angry. She glanced away after a couple beats as to not bring attention to him. If he wanted to be noticed he would have to bring attention to himself.

Brisa turned to Yris, her face lighting up. "That'd be amazing! Thank you!" She said, smiling, and hugged her. "I'd love to be friends!"
Yris hugged her in return, a bright smile vivid on her face as she embraced Brisa in a genuine hug. Once the hug ended, she looked on to Brisa, explaining herself simply "It'll be nice to have someone else who thinks like me."
