He took a deep breath, but it felt like a knife stabbing into him. Wolfram looked up at her."I'm sorry, I'm truly sorry for what I did. I had no right to go after you, to go after anyone. I was just..."He clenched his nail deep into the palms of his hands."I was caught in a place of anger and grief and instead of just....talking about I took it out on other people by yelling at them. What I did was unaccpetible, I know...."He sighed, pulling his gaze away from hers, staring at the ground."I just...I've only had my mother growing up....no siblings, no friends, no father. No one wanted to hang out with 'cat boy'. It made me jealous for what other's had, and I turned that jealousy, sadness and loneliness into anger. I blamed everyone else for what was no ones fault but my own, and then....Last night...I came home and...my mother was just dead...Every part of my home destroyed. I just...I lost it then, and I didn't have care for anything. Delilah attacked me, and I retaliated, because I was so...angry. And when you went after me, and Gage stopped me, I couldn't. I had so much rage built up I couldn't contain it...."He paused, panting. He suddenly realized how open he was, how...vulnerable."I hate myself, Not just for what I've done now and in the past, I just hate-" He cut of, and backed away slightly, his voice trembling."What I'm trying to say is...What I did was not right, and I'm so sorry."He looked up at her, then quickly looked away. They'd sent him after her.
Bleddyn threw her weight back hard onto the foot she was using to propel herself.
The skateboard's redirected momentum completely altered her course and sent her careening toward her diehard pursuer.
As the distance between them closed, Bleddyn brought herself to a screeching halt. She kicked her board aside and strolled up to him. She planted herself firmly before him, and her arms slowly crossed over her chest once more.
"Alright."
Vibrant eyes of ice slanted cooly, she tilted her head just so he couldn't escape a searing visual lock. She wanted to consider him with absolute emotionlessness, and so far, she was managing it. The aggressive blue tinge overtaking his cheek amounted to absolutely zero guilt.
"I don't do normally apologies, but since you've sought me out after all that, have fun."
