Well, basically everyone got up and went to the pancake place. Then Wolfram was being rude to the waitress, so Delilah stepped in. He was rude to her, so she punched him. He tripped her, so Bleddyn stepped in, and they fought. Lachlan tried to stop them and also got punched at one point. Delilah left, and then Gage stepped in. Wolfram left after telling Bleddyn to meet him in the park. Pretty much everyone left after that to go to a coffee shop, but then decided they should go to the park so that a large group of Inhuman teenagers standing on the sidewalk wouldn't attract to much attention. Currently they're all at the park and Wolfram is trying to apologize to Bleddyn for punching her. Peter is under a tree trying to feed wet birds, and Alice is seeing people following them. It has been raining vigorously the entire time. Toby and Zion are being responsible and helping Gage clean up the pancake place and Delilah is going to the library to try and figure out who killed Wolfram's mother yesterday because she feels guilty about punching him.
(Zion and Toby aren't at the park, they're cleaning up the pancake place. Delilah is heading towards the library.)

"Oh, okay. I'm going to grab a mop, before all this syrup dries & is even worse to clean up." Toby said & started looking for a mop. He turned to Gage. "Do you know where the mops are?" He asked.
Of course she completely ignored the fact that I'm hurt, cold, and want inside. Why wouldn't she?
Seeing as I wasn't getting anywhere, and she was still leaning on the door, I did the only sensible thing left, and started walking away.

I never got a definitive answer of whether Toby worked at the same school I went to. I never got his number. I never got to finish my coffee, either, but who cared? I had a mission, and a boy would just be distracting.

I went out in the rain, in the face of headlights in the parking lot. Lampposts, neons from the stores and businesses, and taillights from the cars all reflected in the wet concrete. It all might have been pretty if it hadn't been so cold and wet. I could hear thunder rumbling in the distance, or maybe that was Mom growling at me, but I didn't care.

I had to get somewhere with some signal so I could find out more about the man who killed the mother of the kid I just beat up. Because at least that made sense, right?

I slowed my march when I realized I had forgotten my phone back at the restaurant, but only for a moment. I stepped over the curb and onto the sidewalk. Oh well, the library had computers, and it was on my way to Apologise-to-Catboy-Park. How convenient.

I didn't really feel like apologizing anymore. Part of me wanted to rough him up again.

Zion nods, "You seem to have this covered so I'll step outside, it was nice talking to you though." He smiles timidly and then walks out the front of the restaurant, just in time to watch Delilah walk through the parking lot fuming. He spots mother out in front of the alleyway where Zion was earlier her arms crossed with a look of disappointment and pure fury on her face. Misty casts her glare at Zion, in turn, Zion shrinks in size from fear, he then decides that he should go after Delilah to see where she was going. So he shifts into his bald eagle form and takes off into the air, making sure to stay out of Delilah's sights.

"Ok, bye!" Toby said, & continued to mop.

Finlay's phone rang.

It was Lachlan. Apparently his twin brother was punched in the gut according to the text message. He sighed. Ahhhh brother! Must go and collect him! He closed his book and grabbed a bright green rain jacket off the coat hook. Just as he was about to make an exit his father, Zen called him back.

"Finlay, I haven't seen Lachlan all day, where is he?" Zen questioned, while sipping a cup of his usual hot coffee.
"Ummm," Finlay stuttered, "He's at the park, and I must pick him up."
"Alrighty then," Zen replied cheerfully, "Both of you be back home by dinner, you know how your mother is when you come in late."

"Heh, thanks dad." Finlay grabbed the keychain and headed out.

(Lachlan was punch in da gut)
Lachlan quickly typed out what happened on his phone to his brother, Finlay. "Was at IHOP. Fight broke out. Dude came in yelling at Christine. Delilah and Bleddyn got in a fight with him. I got punched. Gage broke it up. We are at the park now. (Me, Camilla, Bleddyn, Alice, Yris, and some others) Everything is fine tho. No need to tell Mom and Dad, or come if ya don' want to."
He sighed, putting his phone away and glancing at the others.

Jessi was on her way to the park. She flew through the air, the rain hitting her wings. She was wearing waterproof makeup so she didn't have to worry about it smearing. She thought about earlier at the fight, & was disappointed Toby had gotten the manager right when it was getting interesting. When she got to the park she saw a large group of people there. She landed, and saw it was the teenagers from IHOP. She walked up to them, her high heeled boots clicking on the ground. "Hey, you guys gonna start a fight here too?" She asked teasingly. "If you do, I want in this time."

He took a deep breath, but it felt like a knife stabbing into him. Wolfram looked up at her."I'm sorry, I'm truly sorry for what I did. I had no right to go after you, to go after anyone. I was just..."He clenched his nail deep into the palms of his hands."I was caught in a place of anger and grief and instead of just....talking about I took it out on other people by yelling at them. What I did was unaccpetible, I know...."He sighed, pulling his gaze away from hers, staring at the ground."I just...I've only had my mother growing up....no siblings, no friends, no father. No one wanted to hang out with 'cat boy'. It made me jealous for what other's had, and I turned that jealousy, sadness and loneliness into anger. I blamed everyone else for what was no ones fault but my own, and then....Last night...I came home and...my mother was just dead...Every part of my home destroyed. I just...I lost it then, and I didn't have care for anything. Delilah attacked me, and I retaliated, because I was so...angry. And when you went after me, and Gage stopped me, I couldn't. I had so much rage built up I couldn't contain it...."He paused, panting. He suddenly realized how open he was, how...vulnerable."I hate myself, Not just for what I've done now and in the past, I just hate-" He cut of, and backed away slightly, his voice trembling."What I'm trying to say is...What I did was not right, and I'm so sorry."He looked up at her, then quickly looked away.
Bleddyn blinked.
So much for canceling out emotions.
"Look."
Her hat chose that exact moment to detach from her head. It drifted down and landed directly between them. They stared at it awkwardly for a bit. Obviously, neither of them were about to bend forward to grab it and risk simultaneous forehead collusion.
Bleddyn straightened and scratched an irksome cut that marred her face before continuing. "It's obvious you've been through a lot...and I'm definitely not any good with this sort of thing...but..."
She slowly lifted her arm -a seeming deadweight- and let it rest on his trembling shoulder for an agonizing heartbeat. "Sorry 'bout your momma."
Then as quickly as the connection had transpired, she'd snapped her hand back, snatched her hat away from the laughing concrete, and retreated a few paces as well. "Stop apologizing for a fight you didn't start. It's getting redundant." Her voice had dropped that irritating softness. "And if you're trying to guilt a reciprocation out of me- not happening."
She took a few more certain steps toward blissful freedom from immense sympathetic responsibility that she certainly hadn't signed up for.
Her, in this situation with a stranger who she would've loved to pummel out of existence a mere hour ago.
Her out of all people.
My life sucks.
...
But his does more.

Then an afterthought:
"You really need some friends."

Lachlan twisted his head around to look at her, recognizing her from IHOP. He turned fully around, and shook his head, smiling. "I hope not, getting in a fight once today is enough for me." He paused. "Name's Lachlan."

His eyes widened as her hand rested on Wolfram's should for no more then a few heartbeats. What are you doing with your life, loser? Are you trying to guilt trip this girl into liking you?
Shut up! I don't even know her name, and I most certainly don't like her!
Surreeeeee. That's what your head says, but your heart is telling me something a little diffrent.
Quit it, will you? I don't want to listen to you any more.

"Sure, I didn't start it." Wolfram rolled his icy eyes, but didn't say more.
"No, I don't. No one would want to be my friend anyway."His pupils narrowed, his weak state over. But...Her ympathy warmed his cold heart the smallest bit. Someone cared, just for once, even if it was just the smallest bit.
