Of course she completely ignored the fact that I'm hurt, cold, and want inside. Why wouldn't she?Misty pins her ears flat against her head and bares her teeth.
"You have no excuse, do you?! You just started fighting for no reason because you felt like it correct?! Delilah, you can't do that here and you know it! You'll get arrested or killed for acting like that! This isn't Elemians, you won't be praised for taking out a Were-Cat here! The kinds of Were-Cats here are pitiful compared to the ferocious ones on Elemians! If you were expecting praise from me or your father you very well know we don't take lightly to violence without a cause!"
Misty's voice lowers into her almost wolf voice, but then she corrects herself and reverts back to her human voice.
"Delilah. You're a lot like me, I was your age when I met up with the Heroes and started our adventure. You have Elemian blood in you and I know its hard to control, but I learned to control it and I can help you learn to control it."
Misty eases a little and softens her gaze on Delilha
"You just need to understand that random acts of violence here, and even on Elemians could get you killed, and I never want to see you or your brother hurt or killed. So please, listen to me." Misty then steps away from the door and gives Delilah a moment to think.
Zion chuckles a little, "I'll let you know, and no I don't like cats, I don't understand them. Cats hate me anyways..." Then he quietly adds, "just like everyone at shool."
Gage, who started taking orders and distributing food again, motioned back toward the kitchen."Oh, okay. I'm going to grab a mop, before all this syrup dries & is even worse to clean up." Toby said & started looking for a mop. He turned to Gage. "Do you know where the mops are?" He asked.
Brisa began to look around for the cat-boy and instead noticed a boy who looked about her age sitting under a tree in the rain trying to give damp birdseed to an even more damp crow. She recognized him but wasn't quite sure how.
Wolfram let out a irritated sigh as he saw Brisa. That was not who he was looking for....He sat on top of the building roof, clearly visible if you looked up.
Brisa gave up trying to identify the wet bird-feeding guy and continued glancing around. Finally she happened to glance up and made eye contact with the cat-boy, who looked soaked, miserable, and a little angry. She glanced away after a couple beats as to not bring attention to him. If he wanted to be noticed he would have to bring attention to himself.
Brisa turned to Yris, her face lighting up. "That'd be amazing! Thank you!" She said, smiling, and hugged her. "I'd love to be friends!"
Wolfram climbed down with a ladder that was on the side of the building, walking over to Brisa."Do you know where that girl is? The redhead, the one that punched me? Not Delilah, the other one."He growled, his tone unwelcoming.
Bleddyn kicked off of her bare heel and accelerated ahead on her board, speeding over the worn trail with no respect for the surfaced roots that could easily trip up her ride.
"Let them find him, and get this over with," she muttered to the angry sky. Her temper was gnawing away at its chain, a primordial beast just inches away from breaking free.
Droplets streamed off the brim of her sideways cap, the unpleasant sensation of cold liquid seeping through her hair and down her back. "And I'll get conveniently lost."
They can play bereavement counselors all they want. I'm done with that character.
The sudden swell of confliction was nauseating.
Done, Bleddyn, done.
(I think she means Bleddyn.)
"Um," Brisa paused for a moment and took in the angry guy in front of her, unsure if she should out Bleddyn or not. "Um, she's here." She replied, cautiously pointing to where Bleddyn was still taunting the humans. "You guys aren't gonna fight, right?"
"And why would you want to see her, cat-boy?" Camilla snarled from beside Brisa, defensive of Bleddyn.
(I mean Bleddyn, yeah.)
"No!"Wolfram snapped."I just want to talk to her. I did some things I shouldn't have and I need to talk to her."He muttered, unaware of the large purple, black and blue bruise forming on one side of his face.
Wolfram lifted his head, and caught a sudden glimpse of Bleddyn. He glared at Camilla and Brisa."Dont follow me."He snarled, dashing across the stone path."Wait!"He called after Bleddyn."I just want to apologize..."He added more quietly, slowing down. He would never catch her on a hover board.
Alice had been walking with everyone else mostly just keeping to herself. When she got the strong sense of being watched. It was different from before, when those people were just staring.
She glanced around trying to not be obvious about it. A figure near the building turned away around the corner as her eyes fell on it. She looked up the hill, another person slipped behind a tree before she could see their face.
"Uh, guys? Maybe we should go back to the IHOP." She said nervously.
This is starting to sound like a fight went down. Sure hope another one doesn't break out... Grace thought, watching curiously as Bleddyn and Wolfram talked nearby. She noticed Alice's nervousness and asked automatically, "What's wrong? You look like you just saw someone getting thrown into a blender." Just a second later, Grace realized that she had said that out loud. "That didn't make sense," she muttered.Yris hugged her in return, a bright smile vivid on her face as she embraced Brisa in a genuine hug. Once the hug ended, she looked on to Brisa, explaining herself simply "It'll be nice to have someone else who thinks like me."
Gage, who started taking orders and distributing food again, motioned back toward the kitchen.
It smelled funny back there. Mostly like grease and sausages mixed with some weird cleaning fluids and metal. The cook was a cross-looking woman with her grey hair barely contained within the hairnet. Further into the kitchen, there was a tattered red-and-white-checked futon, a microwave, and two big doors with frost around the edges. To the left wasnt really a closet, but more a cranney in the building itself, with no door. Leaning inside, was random cleaning supplies, including sprays, a bucket, and a mop.
Peter heard a sound and looked up. "What the- why are you up there?!" He said in a startled voice, getting up abruptly and scaring away the two crows that had been trying to steal birdseed from the bag. Normally, Peter wouldn't have said anything, but seeing a kid sitting on the branch above you kinda calls for an explanation.Fritz sat in a tree and watched the chaos.
(Cuz Gary read all of this and doesn't know what's going on. Help Gary please.)
And I need to stop writing sob stories XD@MissNutmeg
Well, basically everyone got up and went to the pancake place. Then Wolfram was being rude to the waitress, so Delilah stepped in. He was rude to her, so she punched him. He tripped her, so Bleddyn stepped in, and they fought. Lachlan tried to stop them and also got punched at one point. Delilah left, and then Gage stepped in. Wolfram left after telling Bleddyn to meet him in the park. Pretty much everyone left after that to go to a coffee shop, but then decided they should go to the park so that a large group of Inhuman teenagers standing on the sidewalk wouldn't attract to much attention. Currently they're all at the park and Wolfram is trying to apologize to Bleddyn for punching her. Peter is under a tree trying to feed wet birds, and Alice is seeing people following them. It has been raining vigorously the entire time.
