«We Could Be Legends»

Wolfram just lay limp on the ground, clenching his jaw in pain. "You're wrong." He whispered, ever so quietly. "You are more wrong then you ever have before. I never think about myself. I don't think about my well being or my health. I'll starve myself or throw myself in front of someone with a knife. To be honest, I care more about other people, even those I hate, more then myself." He didn't seem afraid, or even affected, merely emotionless. He stood up slowly, and turned to Bleddyn, ready to fend of a attack.
Alice tensed expecting him at first to go after her from behind. He still wanted to fight Bleddyn? She put wolfram out of her mind he wasn't important right now.

Alice's eyes widened her pupils shrinking into tiny specks. Her stomach twisted in a sour knot. When had Bleddyn become such a blood thirsty monster?

Alice took a breath trying to choose what would be the best way to hurt her, Bleddyn didn't care about physical pain.
"I...." She swallowed hard. "I killed my mom this morning." It came out as a whisper but it was loud enough for everyone to hear. "So. Just..... Stop."
Brisa, preparing a retort, froze and turned toward Alice, all thoughts of Wolfram leaving her mind. What? Did I hear that correctly?

Indigo fought a surge of elation that somebody cared. That Toby cared. Everyone treated her strange, and strange people usually were attracted to each other, why not go for the oddest of all? "I'm going back inside. This might just get interesting."

"K." Toby said simply. He sounded like he was going to pass out any second. He sighed. It's cold and miserable out here, I should go inside. No, inside has people. I'd much rather freeze than be with people.

"You... killed... you... mom?" Indigo gasped. Even she wasn't brave enough to do that, no matter how much her mother deserved it. "But why?"

"What..." Lachlan muttered, but that was all River could catch from his quiet sentence, it didn't matter.
Not right now.
She strolled forward, her hand catching Alice's shoulder. "What are you talking about, kid?" Her voice betrayed nothing, it even sounded warm. What is she talking about? Alice? Killed Tayn? No. No, hearing please be going out. Thomas's wife is alive, at her house. "I heard you wrong, repeat yourself?"

Just like that, Bleddyn completely shut down. Her brain completely wiped itself clean. Nothing had happened today that mattered, she wasn't anywhere that pertained, and she certaintly wasn't in a room with a dozen other people.
All she saw was Alice.
"You...you.....you......"
Her eyes fixed impossibly wide, Bleddyn keeled over and began spitting bloody gasps.

Brisa took took a few stunned steps forward and stood next to Bleddyn, awkwardly placing a hand on her back, wanting to help but unsure how. She was still in shock. She opened her mouth, but no sound came out.

"Alice, wh-what?" Jessi choked out.

Alice shrugged, the realization setting in with what she'd said aloud causing her to start shaking again.

"I~ I killed my mom." She breathed her voice faltering. She blinked stupidly up at River, for some reason the tears had finally stopped.

River's lungs seemed like they had stopped. No. Not Tayn. Alice wouldn't kill Tayn. Tayn isn't dead. She can't be. "What? Alice, you killed your mother? You killed Tayn?" The words weren't really measuring up.
Tayn couldn't be dead.
Her family needed her, Thomas did, and Camilla and Alice. "I know you, you wouldn't pull a trigger on Tayn."

Indigo screamed as River stopped lounging. (Plz ignore this spoof)
