Jessi looked back at Frosty and nodded at him. When she saw Grace, her face lit up and she flew over to her, gently bumping her arm with her nose. She must be looking for Peter. She thought, pointing in Peter's direction with her claw.

"Woah! Oh, hi Jessi!" Grace said. Her hand sparked and she shot an arc of electricity at the nearest group of Pure. "Huh?" She asked, looking in the direction of Jessi's claw. "Wait.. Peter?"

"Woah! Oh, hi Jessi!" Grace said. Her hand sparked and she shot an arc of electricity at the nearest group of Pure. "Huh?" She asked, looking in the direction of Jessi's claw. "Wait.. Peter?"

Jessi nodded. She crouched down and gestured to her back, her way of asking if Grace needed a ride over there. It would be a lot safer if they flew, but for all she knew Grace didn't want to see him. Not being able to speak in wyvern form is very inconvenient. She thought.

Grace stared at her numbly for a second, then seemed to understand what she meant. "Oh, yeah! That'd be great," she said, already climbing onto her.
Crow noticed and shifted, dropping the gun in Grace's lap since he couldn't use it as a bird. He wasn't totally useless, though; he had a sword.

Once Grace was on, Jessi flew over to Peter. She landed and crouched down, lowering her wing like a ramp. She poked Peter to get his attention and pointed to Grace. Once they saw each other, she looked around, spotting Toby hovering over a dead body with a scarily blank face. She looked back at Peter and Grace one last time, and flew over to her brother.

Brisa turned and slammed her elbow full force into the stomach of a Pure woman who had attacked her, bringing her hand forward as the woman bent over in pain and using her powers to send her flying backwards, putting her whole body behind the shove. Then her mom lifted her until they were flying back to back above the fighters’ heads, telekinetically hurling rocks at the Pure.

Toby looked up as Brisa and Mikki flew up and threw rocks at the Pure. He was a little jealous they could use their powers so effortlessly. He sighed, killing another Pure man. David would be pretty useful right about now. Toby thought. He eyed Jessi, who was fighting next to him and using her tail to deflect the bullets firing in their direction.
