«We Could Be Legends»

Pics
A sleek black vehicle drove up. An extremely tall, beautiful woman with a business suit including a blazer with a white shirt, a tight knee length skirt, white tights, and black chunky heels stepped out.
This woman stepped out calmly, long black wavy hair flowing down her back. She had unmistakable violet eyes. All the men's eyes were drawn to the tall, beautiful woman.
She walked over to Toby, for he looked older and less unstable than the teenagers, wincing at the heels. She usually was sitting when she did work, so heels didn't matter. She kind of towered over him.
"Sir, I hear there her has been a disturbance. Have you met anyone called the Pure?" Enchantment twisted into her voice, she was unsure whether to trust him, though he looked trustworthy enough, she had learned to trust no one. It was impossible to notice the enchantment unless you knew what to look for. If you were an enchanter yourself, or say, telepathic.
She was surprised to see the color of his eyes matched hers. She gasped in surprise. "Rex? No."

Toby looked up at her, startled. The first thing he saw was her shoes "man, your feet are gonna be so sore. Heels aren't fun." He said. He stood up from where he was kneeling on the ground next to Grace & pulled off his glasses. The height difference made him a little uncomfortable, since she was at least a few feet taller than him. "Did you call me 'sir'? Am I in trouble or something? I never get called sir unless I'm in trouble. Who are you, & how do you know about the pure? Are you with them?" Toby asked. "What about Rex? If he did something wrong and you want me to apologize you have the wrong guy."

(oh, my alerts are awfully bad.)
Indigo laughed harmoniously. It sounded like a beautiful ambience, like a waterfall mixed with birds and something magical. She really shouldn't have worn heels, she was already over six feet tall.
"No, no, your not in trouble, I want to help you. You look, related to Rex. Maybe I should tell you a bit about myself. I'm Indigo Alan, I work, well for a group, which fights this Pure, called The Multitude, because all the antonyms for Pure sound disgusting," she said with another laugh. "I was wondering... why do you look so much like Rex? There aren't that many people with brown hair and violet eyes.... I mean there aren't that many people with violet eyes at all. I thought I just inherited it as a special trait of beauty with my... mother having them," she said quickly, too quickly. She was going to say with my being an enchantress, but decided to keep this a secret. She could be too careful. "So what do you do?"
(Italics mean she's enchanting him to tell her, or do something.)

Maryella shouldered her bat and frowned, a little miffed at being ignored. Normally groups like this didn't just stand around in the rain for nothing. What were they doing?

She turned the wheelchair and made like she was going back into the store, but she stopped right at the threshold. They were Inhumans, which anyone could easily see, but there was something else. Some called it foolery, but Maryella had always prided herself in being able to sniff out the non-gifted humans. And the stench lingered. That's probably what caused the commotion. She deduced.

At last, curiosity over took her. Not a hard feat, as her shop was a hoard of curiosities and she had a knack for finding them. "Hey." She called. "I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure you land lovers don't like the rain. The shop's open if you'd like to come in."

Indigo looked toward her, and back at Toby.

"I look like Rex? That's weird. We're not blood related. He's my step-dad." Toby looked at her. She was extremely pretty, & her laugh was almost enchanting. "Depends on what you mean what I do. Like for work, I'm a part time waiter, & a part time janitor. I also work at a makeup store. Power wise, I have shadow magic." Toby blurted out. His eyes widened. "What did you do to me?"
