«We Could Be Legends»

(Yep)

Wolfram looked up, flinching when he saw her. Please dont have heard me, please, please, please.... He smiled at her after a heartbeat."Hey. Are you feeling better?"He asked quietly.

"Very good," Emily smiled and served her a piece. The table was growing smaller by the minute.
Bleddyn looked blankly at Wolfram when he'd obviously said something. This overpowering buzzing in her skull was really starting to irk her. She smacked her hand against her head a few times, because that'd always worked before. "Come again?"

Tayn sighed as they pulled into the driveway, and put the car in park.

"I've gotta go to work now. There's supper in the fridge. You're dad won't be home for the next few days he has a work thing a couple towns over."

Alice sat silently in the back staring out her window.

"Tomorrow." Tayn said, the word sounding half like a question and half a demand. "I want you two to go see Gage, and apologize for the trouble you caused."

"We didn't do anything." Alice grumbled quietly.

"And!" Tayn continued loudly ignoring Alice. "Get your homework done. Alice you have Essays that are due monday, right? And Camilla you have an english assignment. I want them done before you leave the house tomorrow. I know you want to go back to Lachlans for what ever it was you were working on. But school comes first."

Alice didn't say anything in response. She pushed her door open moodily and slammed it closed behind her. What did mom even know anyway? There was way more going on then school. Way more important things.

Zachary followed Zion and Delilah at a distance hoping they wouldn't notice. He was waiting for them to go their separate ways but it didn't look like that was going to happen. He knew that right now the rest of the team would be trying checking to see if that Wolfram kid had the Key, and he would have to wait to hear back from them before he could do anything with these two, so he waited.

They boy with wings and the fox girl seemed to wander aimlessly. There were roads and alleys they doubled back on. Zachary wondered if they had noticed him following, or if maybe they were taking precautions on their way to where they were planning to hide the key.

He rounded another corner when his radio buzzed. Zachary nearly jumped out of his skin, and quickly jumped back out of sight. That was the signal that they were done at the park.

He pressed the button 3 times, his own signal to get them to come to him.

o.o
A violent screech produced by agitated rubber, and Bleddyn was suddenly occupying a chair at the table, miraculously stable and giving no hints that minutes before a couch had been the involuntary extent of her domain. She gave an unashamed shrug to answer for her abruptly forced presence
"I smelled lasagna," she offered in a bored tone that suggested she believed that explained absolutely everything questionable thoroughly and fully.
Lachlan watched her carefully. She seemed okay, but one couldn't be positive with Bleddyn. "How are you feeling?" He asked.

"We didn't." Camilla muttered along with her sister, and looked annoyed as her mother ignored them.
She grabbed her car door handle, pushing it open and jumping out, slamming it behind her, quickly hurrying after her sister.
After she entered their house, she quickly grabbed herself some food. I'll eat then get at least half that assignment done right away.

Lachlan watched her carefully. She seemed okay, but one couldn't be positive with Bleddyn. "How are you feeling?" He asked.
Bleddyn gave her lasagna a violent stab. "I'm sitting here, aren't I?" Her retort wasn't spoken sharply despite the choice of verbiage. For the moment, she was just pleased that her ears seemed to be functioning now with minimal interference.

Lachlan gave a half hearted laugh under his breath at her retort. "Suppose you are." He said.

Alice set the piece of paper she had taken from Lachlans house on the kitchen island, unfolding it. It was mostly dry. She carefully pulled the business card out of her pocket that the police officer had given her, and set that on the counter top too. It was fully saturated, but somehow intact. She looked over at Camilla who had her back to her, standing in front of the microwave.

"So, I guess you know now. You really won't tell anyone? Not even mom and dad?" Alice didn't know how much she could trust her little sister, they never seemed to be able to get along. But this was something important, and it's not like she could take back her knowing. So she didn't really have a choice.

Camilla turned to her older sister, for a second puzzled before what Alice spoke of dawned on her. "Guess I won't, unless someone's like, dying or something. I just want to know, why don't you want to tell anyone? What's so wrong with being a healer?" She said, her voice rough.

Alice frowned. "Dyn. She doesn't have powers and really wants them. And for a long time I thought I didn't have any either. It was nice to have someone, like me. I don't want her to feel alone. I've healed her a few times, when she was in the hospital. I'm not going to just let people die. But I don't want her know, if she doesn't have to."
