Toby walked back to the car & sat in it, taking shelter from the rain. His hair was glued to his head, & he ran a hand through it to pull it out of his face. He sighed, and looked around. Indigo & Emily still didn't notice them, and he was considering honking on the horn to get their attention. He was starting to realize he actually would have to deal with Indigo again, & that made him nervous. Alpha nudged the side of Toby's face with his nose, and when Toby started petting him, Alpha started licking his face. "You're the best doggy ever." Toby murmured. He pulled out his phone. He used one hand to play a game, and the other hand to pet Alpha. He hummed something, and every now and again would look around the park.

Indigo was dressed humbly in jeans and a sweater along with her pea-coat.
"Did we really have to go here? She muttered. "It's still raining."

She opened the car door and pulled out a graceful black umbrella and unfolded it. She handed a red one to Emily.
They stood there in the rain.
"Hey," Emily said to the man who let a dog loose on her daughter.

"Don't do what?" She thought a moment. "Enchant you? I suppose I won't. Unless you start stalking me cause I'm so pretty."

"Oh really? What changed your mind? Did someone else have a panic attack?" Toby said. You're scared of her. A voice in his head thought. I'm not scared of her, I'm scared of what she can do. Oh, so you're turning into one of those people afraid of everyone's powers? Pathetic. Shut up. He turned his head slightly towards River, his eyes keeping a close watch on Indigo. He briefly glanced at River, and his eyes shot back to Indigo, like he expected her to attack him in the few seconds he looked away.
