«We Could Be Legends»

Toby walked up by Indigo. He stared at the entrance of the tunnel. He dug into his backpack & pulled out a few flashlights. He offered one to River, Fritz, and Indigo, but paused when it got to Indigo. "If you lose or break this you have to get me another one." He said, and handed it to her. "Ladies first." He gestured towards the tunnel.
"I appreciate the gesture," Indigo said, handing back the flashlight. "But I came prepared." She pulled a penlight out of a pocket. "Chivalrous man you are," she dipped her head, and stepped out into the tunnel with a leather boot.
"Keep a watch out for the Pure."

"Of course you did, since you're miss perfect." Toby grumbled. He put the flashlight away & glanced at River. He followed Indigo into the tunnel. He had a flashlight in one hand & his pocket knife in the other. I still think this is a trap. Toby thought. Focus only on the light. The dark doesn't exist.

Fritz turned on the flashlight, and kept his hand on the knife in his pocket. Dad's gonna kill me if he finds out...

(Well that is 16-year-old Drama for you!)
(Chickenlady, not knowing your age, and dont feel the need to tell me. That's not info to be sharing online... i cant really say whether you've been 16 or not. However, i have IRL 4 kids under the age of 10. Not one of them would be throwing tantrums and especially not hurting an adult when they didn't get their way.

Because they know, 1. they won't ever get what they want acting like that, and 2. if they want to be treated with respect they will act respectfully toward others.

Ella being excluded from going into a life or death situation is not because we are trying to exclude you chickenlady, but that the characters have no reason to trust she wont start screaming in a life or death situation over something trivial.

Keep in mind that our characters are not us, we are portraying created characters who will respond to other characters based on their interctions. It's actually frustrating to me to see River(the character) being such a pushover to toward Ella. I know her character well, and trust me she's being an angel compared to how her character should be reacting to yours.

Now all that being said, there really is nothing stopping your character from completely ingnoring everyone and following them, however if ella goes inside the tunnels she has no powers the pure know about ella, and Izzys powers and have protected themselves from having things stolen.

There WILL be fighting inside. Your character could get hurt.

If you would prefer you could have her decide to go to the other group. Alice and a few others are 16 so they should at least know of each other, and they would have seen each other the night before at River's house.

I will tell you though that Alice isn't going to put up with a person that stomps and screeches when she doesnt get her way. 16 year olds don't.... or shouldn't do that. My IRL 4 year old doesnt do that.

I'm not saying this to be mean, it's to reassure you that we, all of us, aren't trying to be mean.)

"I think we should go strait for the key. We need to get it before the Pure does. As for not knowing where everyone is, Toby is pretty good about telling me where he is." Jessi said. She looked around for Alice and the van.
Grace listened idly to the conversation. She studied the others. She didn't know any of them very well, even the ones in her grade. That meant that Peter didn't know them at all. "So. We're going in a stolen van to the lair of the keymakers?" She asked, trying to joke around. Unfortunately, her sense of humor was rather strange.
"Well when you say it like that it sounds bad." Jessi said, smiling.
Brisa smiled. "What do we know about the key so far? I hardly know anything, just that there's a key." She said.

(Sorry for the absence)

Alice arrived back at River's her knuckles white on the steering wheel. She put it in park and stepped out into the street.

She took a deep breath and let it out slowly to calm herself,
"It's all yours Jessi." She said pretending the drive had been a breeze. "That is, if you can figure out how to turn on the wipers." She chuckled the tension slowly easing from her body.
"I didn't leave a note, Camilla will you text mom, don't tell her where we're going though."

"I just didn't want to break your stuff. You act like my hands are poisonous," Indigo walked into the darkness. "Really listen. In here, you can hear the pure coming. It really echoes. There are sentries at the end of the tunnel." Her boots made low thudding sounds that echoed ominously through the abandoned tunnel.
She stayed along the side. The Pure was more likely to walk right on the rusting old track.
"Get prepared for a lot of walking."

River took the flash light, and flicked it on, strolling ahead of everyone. "Stay silent, stay close, and no noise." She growled quietly.

Camilla nodded. "Sure." She pulled out her phone.
"Hey Mom. Alice took and the van because of an emergancy. We'll be back soon. Btw I did that essay." She typed and sent to Tayn.

Alice pulled some blank pieces of paper and a pen out of her jacket pocket, she decided she had to make an attempt at her home work and the car ride would do. And she hopped in back of the van. (sorry it might be a few days before I'm back. If it's needed someone else will have to play Alice while I'm gone.)
