«We Could Be Legends»

"Uh...well...that's new...so...stop now." Words short and practically growled out, Bleddyn could feel her face heating to a visible shade of scarlet. Her right hand painfully folded into a fist at her side, but she couldn't quite bring it to slam into his face.
Caught somewhere between terminal embarrassment and rekindled hate, Bleddyn stared at him for a long moment more, then hurriedly shoved her way past. Pretty? Dyn? Where is he coming up with this crap?
"Yup, thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat's where I'm going," she mumbled guardedly, keeping her eyes riveted to the stairs as she fecklessly tripped down them.

Jessi looked up at Bleddyn. "I'll have to convince mom to let you keep that sweater, because you look great in it." She said, smiling at her. She stood up and washed her plate off.

"Yeah, well I'm only speaking the truth."Wolfram mumbled.
He followed her slowly, and then she just tripped. He stopped, standing on one of the stairs awkwardly."Are you alright?"His voice was thick with concern and nervousness, his hand subconsciously fidgeting on the stair rail.

Jessi looked up at Bleddyn. "I'll have to convince mom to let you keep that sweater, because you look great in it." She said, smiling at her. She stood up and washed her plate off.

After having recovered her balance, Bleddyn made her way over to an unoccupied chair at the table and collapsed into it. She threw her elbows down onto the tabletop and pulled the skin around her eyes tight- a bad attempt at alleviating the humiliation she was continuously suffering.
"Can you people just not," she groaned, letting her skin go and just pressing her palms into her eyes. At her current body temperature, perhaps her hope of spontaneous sublimation wasn't all that illogical.

Jessi shrugged. "It's true, you look good. Maybe it's just because you aren't covered in yuck. Can I grab you a slice?"

Wolfram made his way down the stairs."Alright, alright. We'll stop,"He muttered, sounding utterly defeated. He gently touched her shoulder, before instantly pulling away, sitting down in the chair next to her.

Absolutely done, Bleddyn facepalmed into the table. "Yes. Please do, Jessi," she mumbled weakly into the deadening surface.
Honestly, it's a wonder I haven't melted through the table.

Wolfram narrowed his eyes."Are you alright, Bleddyn?"He spoke softer and gentler then he ever remembered himself ever speaking. He surprised himself, he didn't expect to be so...sympathic. The hell was that.

Jessi grabbed a plate and put a few slices of pizza on it. She handed it to her. "Are you okay? Do you need some Advil?" She asked. She grabbed a cup full of water and handed it to Bleddyn.

Bleddyn peeled her face off the table to glare at him with twitching eyes. "Just...shut up...-do you need a please? Alright, please? Pleasepleaseplease p l e a s e?!"
She turned to Jessi, clear emotional lethargy written across her face. A partial mental shutdown was definitely imminent.
"I just need pizza." Lightning-charged hands shot out to grab the plate and then she was shoveling a slice into her mouth.
