"Oh, congratulations!" It was a comfort to know that there would be someone familiar in the Clan, it made some of the uneasiness about addressing Moonstar die away. "Is . . . " she faltered, but continued earnestly. "Is Moonstar very nice? I hope she lets me into the clan . . . I've never fought a fox like you, or survived nights on a preserve like Lena."

"I know I don't need to be afraid of foxes. You'll beat them all up before I have a chance to even get near one."​
