Gray sat up, he looked down at the ground again. "Hey, Andorra. Let's go over to that lake. We could try to catch something edible!" He said, pointing at a fairly large lake, surrounded by trees.

Andorra looked down to locate the lake. She cut her wings closer to her body, so she could drop out of the up draft. she soared over to the right descending slowly. She flew close over the water, she had watched eagles catch fish this way. Seeing through her dark shadow, she saw a large silver flash, she lashed out lightning fast and her claws made purchase on the fish. She growled in excitement, but she hoped it was an edible fish. She saw another silver flashing, right in front and grabbed it with her mouth. She bit it three times to get it into position, then gobbled it down in one swallowing. It felt so strange to feel her neck muscles work the fish down her long throat. She caught two more fish before she head for the shore. She gently dropped the fish to the ground free up her claws to land. Then laid down so Gray could get off.

Gray jumped off of Andorra's back. He laughed. "That was amazing! I didn't know that you knew how to fish!"

Andorra growled happily, she was proud of her ability to help Gray. She crossed her front legs and watched him.

Gray bit into one of the fish Andorra had caught. He forced himself to swallow the raw, slimey fish. "EW, it's not the best.. but at least I'm not hungry anymore." Gray said. He looked at Andorra, somehow she seemed different from the other dragons, but he couldn't figure out why.

Andorra tilted her head back and laughed very hard. The look on Gray's face, as he bit into that fish, was priceless! She still couldn't believe he'd tried to eat it raw, scales, guts and all. She shook her head in disbelief. Deciding to do something about it. She got up, to start gathering the dried drift wood that littered the shore. She made a small pile. Then she went to get some dried grass and small sticks to stack around the grass. It was very hard to do, with her dragon claws, but she eventually managed. Satisfied that it was ready, she sat down, to think on how to ignite the grass. That's when she looked over at the largest of the fish she had caught and noticed that the scales looked similar to large beveled discs. She gripped the fish and ripped one of the scales off to examine it. She nodded to herself, this would work. She looked up at the angle of the sun, then held the scale like a magnifying glass over the dried grass, she focused the sunbeam. After a few moments, it started to smoke. She softly blew on it, give oxygen to the embers. When it finally sparked to life. She looked up at Gray, excitedly and gave a toothy grin. Andorra started adding the smartest pieces of drift wood, getting a good fire started. She then gutted the fish with her claws and then impaled the fish on a long stick. She drove one end of the stick into the ground, while the fish hung over the fire, to cook it. Andorra sat down to watch the flames aimlessly as they danced about.

(Sorry, it's so long, I had to be detailed. :p )

(Wow, it's definitely detailed! My post won't be as amazing... XD)
Gray watched as the bright orange flames danced about, burning the wood until it was no more than ashes. Small sparks shot out of the fire, delicately floating in the air around them. Gray smiled at Andorra, he was glad to have such an intelligent creature with him.
Once the fish had cooked, Gray picked it up and took a bite. Though it was hot, it tasted delicious. "Thank you, Andorra! This is delicious!" Gray said, taking another bite.

Lis shrugged. "Um....no clue."

"Hm," Pheli said, she stopped to think for a moment. "How about, we ask one of the riders to storm the castle with us?"

Andorra nodded her head, then tilted it and smiled at Gray. She couldn't have her rider weak from hunger. She was glad all those camping trips with her dad, finally paid off.

Gray smiled back. By now, he had finished eating the fish. He sat by the fire and looked at Andorra. "What should we do now that we've eaten?" He asked.
