Celeste shared those features, though her coat was a deep chocolate brown instead of black
 
Grace slowly sank to the bottom of her stall as air slowly seeped out of her lungs.

Crowe carried Ginger on her back and swam to the lifeboat and greeted the mares. Sage swam up beside her with Sugar. Sage looked up to the mares with fear in her eyes. "Please, you must let my little one Sugar sit, perhaps on your back." Ginger was strong, but sugar was cold, and weak.

A stallion named Hero broke through the surface, gasping a little. He took Sugar quietly from her mother.

Lark weakly grasped a floating log and heaved.

Toby broke though the stall and went after Grace. He pulled her out of the stall and pushed her to the surface.

Star looked at Hero with surprise.
 
Grace failed and gasped as she came up to the surface.

Sage looked at the twins. "I'll be back." She turned to dive into the water.
 
Grace sighed with relief.

Sage came up after a very long while. "He's gone!" She cried again and again kicking frantically. Tears poured down her weary face. She didnt want to live, but knew she must be strong for her daughters.
