Wonderful! A! At first glance you can't see where the rebar was, which is very, very, good for your first time doing it. When I sit down and really look at it though you can see traces of the bar, which is easily fixed by a small smudge bush. I like how you did the swirls with the smudge, around the hooves though try to get closer to edge. Other then that I really like it!

A, you did a very good job! Although, you can still see where the lead is under the horses chin. I was also looking for more then just something that simple. Still good though!

Yeah, I know. Lol, I couldn't find a picture to really work with. But thanks!
 
..Then thats whats not done right, I never asked for you to smudge the background I asked for you to remove something like a saddle on a horse. :p

(I did this a little differently than you posted...I used clone stamp, rather than smudge tool, because it smudging it is too blury. Although, along the edge of the mirror I used smudge because clone wasn't working right for me.)
