Sandpiper looked mournful. "We need those wounds to get attended to," she said, quietly. "You should get to Osprey's cave as fast as you can before they get infected. I'm glad that I was laid up through the fighting, or who knows what shape I'd be in."

Osprey beckoned with a sway of her neck, "Come dear, I have just the thing." she said with an ambivalent smile as her grimly gaze swept over his wounds. She walked into the den to prepare her medicinal plants for use.
