Crane cringed inwardly at her jumble of words.

"Ah... Well, I'm not so I guess were good. What up?"

" oh, not much" she said, her voice sounding raw. She beant to lick a cut on her foreleg.

"Ah, seems nothing is going on with anyone, which is good don't get me wrong, just kinda erm, boring I guess"

Nightingale prowled around Snowpack, her bright yellow eyes scanning the new area. She flicked her long, black strong tail as she walked.

" mhhhm. Woulda been nice if you'd been there when.... " her voice wavered out "when we were fighting over that deer with those rogues. Chickadee and I, I mean." she said, her downcast eyes overly bright.

 

[Gerbil]

"Ah, where was that? I hadn't heard of it till now, for such a small pack news sure takes it's time!" he laughed softly, "anyone hurt bad?"

Well 3 of them chased a deer into our territory and killed it. Chickadee saw it and started yelling at them, and they attacked her. I helped her, but we were outnumbered. I think she is pretty ok, and my throat is sore cause it got ripped open a little, but other than that we both just have cuts and scrapes. I think we might have gotten off lucky... I feel like such a useless fighter, couldn't hold them off. But I'm sooo light, even if I'm quick.....
