Lion looked gratefully up at Falcon. "Thank you," he said, weakly. "But I know what I'm doing." His voice was not unkind, but instead it was encouraging and thankful. He continued to lick Dove. She lifted her head slightly, cracking open one eyelid and smiling weakly at Lion. Then she fell into unconsciousness again.
Eeve stirred and looked at them. "Whats wrong with her?" She asked.
Squirrel had crept back to the herb den, just arriving as Eeve asked her question. "I didn't see it, but I think she collapsed," Squirrel replied, quietly. "I hope Osprey can di-diag-diagnose her." He shook his head as he tripped over the word.
"Does anyone who what causes it?" Falcon asked "Eating something? Getting bitten by something? It would be helpful to know so that we can avoid future incidents"
Squirrel thought. "I don't remember her eating anything strange. I can only remember her eating fresh meat and some regular wild strawberries, and I ate those, too. She probably would've told someone if she'd gotten bitten."
Sandpiper had been eavesdropping, and now slunk into the open. "Crow was acting strangely, earlier," she said. "As if he was a bit sick. I do remember Dove going off by herself - I think I heard her say something about going to bathe in the brook."

Squirrel agreed. "Except I doubt there's anything wrong with the brook. I think she was feeling poorly before the brook, and that was why she went."
