This is Marmalade, my Buff Orpington. She acts fine, but is she supposed to have those “indentations”? New to chickens…not even sure I’m posting correctly!

She is a sweetie. With the pic taken from the top of her, isn’t she supposed to be fuller? I guess it could be considered an “hourglass”figure

Ahh, I see. While chicken breeds do usually have a typical shape and size they can all be different! I think she is perfectly normal

Yes!

I think she looks healthy and normal. Pictures can be deceiving, but I'm wondering if maybe she's got a lot of fluff or poof in her feathers that is giving her that shape.
