This is Marmalade, my Buff Orpington. She acts fine, but is she supposed to have those “indentations”? New to chickens…not even sure I’m posting correctly!

Hi! I see you haven't gotten a response to your question yet😊. Your post was correct! I'm unsure of what exactly you mean however. Can you explain exactly where the "indentations" your speaking of are? She looks fine from what I can see, very pretty😁
 
Do you mean where it looks like she's got kind of "hips" in the first picture?

She is a sweetie. With the pic taken from the top of her, isn’t she supposed to be fuller? I guess it could be considered an “hourglass”figure

Ahh, I see. While chicken breeds do usually have a typical shape and size they can all be different! I think she is perfectly normal 😁
 
I think she looks healthy and normal. Pictures can be deceiving, but I'm wondering if maybe she's got a lot of fluff or poof in her feathers that is giving her that shape.
