Amouris pried himself off the horn, panting heavily. He glared at the overstuffed stallion and slashed him across the muzzle, leaving a deep gash. He resisted the urge to double over from the pain of the poison.

The stallion only growled and lashed out at Amouris again,sinking his horn into his neck. Ares continued to watch,smiling.
