Hector awoke to the emptiness, in a sea cave void of life.
How long he had lain there he could not recall. Weeks, years...
Now what had happened, he inquired of his memory which first responded with utter blankness but, came up with an idea on the second try.
It was Scimitar, by Tiger's tongue, that-, that-- He had done this, oh man, he had done this... If he was still alive, still alive. The words hit him again.. He had to get out, his family, the war.
His eyes of pearl flushed a bloody red and he snarled at himself, at his stupidity at following that sea donkey like fish for a line. The quills along his spine and shoulders quivered and he let out a cry, there was a way out... East, about thirty feet, there was an opening and like a shark on a scent, he was off.
"Get ready sea, Hector's not done with you yet"
The cave entrance can be anywhere, I don't know how the herds are set up here so?
Well, he's there somewhere and hard to miss. It is the one orange one in the corner.
