The plastic moved slowly off of Yang's nose until it finally fell to the ground,splattering blood all over Ares's dark coat. Yang had a large cut on his nose,which although wasn't bleeding,looked like it had to hurt. "There," Ares sighed,not noticing his cut.

Hector had overcome the shock of his situation and was now swimming disconsolately in no general direction.
If as much time as it seemed to him had passed, surely no one he knew or loved was still alive. He was to say the least, the last of his kind, a dinosaur in a chicken pen.
He switched to swimming on his back so he could look up at the sun, least the sun seemed the same huge, burning mass. Oh joy, me and the sun.
