I have one. She is 20 weeks now. She is easily the sweetest, most docile chicken ever. Of my chickens (11) she is the only one who will come to me and let me pet her, pick her up and hold. She also marches to the beat of her own drum. She is very independent. Whereas she will hang around the flock, she has no problem wondering off to explore. I am currently building a coop for my roosters and she spends a lot of her time with me, walking around my tools and the unfinished coop. She is just the darling of my chickens. Oh, I must say, out of the gate, she went through a growth spurt and was the biggest of my chicks but about 12-14 weeks, everyone else shot by her. Now she is the smallest of my flock.I kind of remember reading a thread from someone who was looking to breed standard sized silkies or something to that effect. It was maybe a month ago?
I found this ‘breed’ on MyPetChicken, a Silked Easter Egger. It is supposed to be a small standard and have Silky traits and lay colored eggs. It sounds like more than just a hybrid/cross, but not quite a full reproducible breed just yet. Not sure if it is of interest to anyone?

Does anyone have one of these? I’m curious about them. Not really a huge fan of the look of Silkies, but these look interesting, IMO.
