They could very likely be recreated here in the states by mixing Langshans, Favorelles and Sultans. That should produce a bird very close to the same size and physical traits. And with a few generation of selective breeding you could get the patterns to breed true.

Actually, considering silkie crosses look very similar and it is technically a silkie, crossing a silkie and a cochin would be a lot easier.
