I like them, but I'm unsure I would like to own them. I'm a cat person, as is evident in my art... :3

; _ ; i miss my doggy from when i was little. But i am very allergic to dogs.

Not really worth buying.

The dog came to us when UP was first coming out. We knew from the get go that he was different. He came every time you called, even though he didn't know us.
Our dog at the time was named Olive, and she tried to chase him off. Stupid thing. Luckily they didn't go far, mostly because Olive was so fat. They came back, tails wagging.
Mom wanted to get rid of him, so she took him running with her, hoping he would run off into the neighbor's yard. Yet he stayed by her side the whole way.
Our farrier came by a couple days later, and he must have noticed how special he was. He offered to take him home and train him, probably to see if us kids would forget about him in that time and he could have him. Mom and Dad probably knew this, and of course agreed. They paid him $400 for this "training" which was really just sit, stay, and housebreaking, but before he left, he wanted us to name him.
Doug was the name of the dog from UP, with his quote, "I have just met you, and I love you! Can I stay?" Nobody really liked that name, at least the adults didn't, but it stuck. My dad nicknamed him Dud, but a dud he was not.
He came back after a few weeks with a fancy collar. He pulled on the leash a bit, and I didn't like that so much. I actually had him where he would stop when I stopped, but his excitement would usually get the best of him.

He was a cow dog, and so naturally we had him help us work them. He wasn't very good at it. Most of the time he ran them towards us.... He also lost about three teeth to the cows kicking him.

Then, years later, Mum was out riding her horse with Doug and Olive when a pack of strays came out of the woods and circled them. Olive, being the retard she is, went straight up to one and sniffed it, and of course it jumped on her. Then Doug jumped in.
Mum and Olive got away, but Doug got tangled up in the fight until Dad and Owen came around with shotguns. All the other dogs left when they heard the four wheelers, but the dominant dog stayed... to chew on Doug's head.

The stray got shot and died within fifteen minutes. Doug suffered for three days.

That was the only dog I ever loved.
