We are a little ways from the shore(about 2-3 miles) but we’re up on a hill

this was one of my friends in SK they got flooded in because they figured we're on a hill, we'll be fine. lol they made it into the paper though.

we drove past them on our way cross country, they are WAY bigger than I thought. It looked like the ocean.

I just realized we barely got to see any of it. all we would have seen was from the highway between thunder bay and Nipigon, we ended up getting rerouted to northern Ont. because the highway was washed out.

Which one? I always think of Lake Michigan, but I've been to Lake Superior and maybe Lake Erie?

Superior. I've been to Niagara Falls too, but you can't really see the lakes from there.

I want to go there someday. I also want to go to California for the redwoods or at least the Rockies.

I want to go there someday. I also want to go to California for the redwoods or at least the Rockies.

The rockies are amazing! I got to go to Banff. one in the summer, and I thought they'd be really cool in the snow. (i was disappointed there wasn't snow at the top in the summer) and when I went back in the winter it was too snowy to see the mountains. They're beautiful. I grew up with "mountains", next to the rockies they look like ant hills lol.
