23 ha! That’s nothing. I set 71 between Saturday and Sunday, 31 chicken, mostly Red Ranger rooster over Red Ranger hens, four from RIR hens and 12 from a chicken house pullet that I caught after she escaped the houses across the road. All under the red Ranger rooster. Then 30 duck eggs and 10 guinea.

This is my breeding pen of chickens. (I May change later, I may separate my australorps or Leghorns and hatch pures) My Red Ranger rooster is as big as he looks, I’ve calculated him to be somewhere around 15-18lbs weighed him on two different scales.
