Name: Katie - also answer (k-k-k-Katie, Kate, Katherine, Karen, Katrina, Kater, Kate-a-late, boobad, goober stinkerRose(my middle name) etc) to my four sisters names, my husbands name, my cousins names, and my kids names.

Animals: 2 Orange cats. 4 crazy kids.

Likes: God, plants that don't die despite my neglect, music with feeling, hatching chicks, crazy people, the sun, hot sand, waves, wind, the smell of the forest, theoretical ridiculous arguments.

Dislikes: people who eat -_- I am willing to forgive them if they eat where i cant see them AND I cant hear them. Violence (exception made for loud eaters -_- ), not being able to find a thing when I need it. "smart"phones. Stupid Doctors.

Weird facts about me: I can spend a full day doing "nothing" and be completely content with my own imagination. Vitamins make me vomit within an hour of taking one. Growing up there was a peat moss bog across the road from my parents house and I used to go over with my cousin and we would paint ourselves head to toe in black slimy muck. I've broken both arms (separate times) a finger, a toe, and chipped a piece off of my heel bone.... I'm quite accident prone. If I'm comfortable around you be careful I drool, and bite.

Weirdest thing I've ever done: hmm, so many possibilities... Pinned down and licked my 20 year old sisters entire face.

Coolest thing I've ever done: Completed C25K (running exercise program) I was so excited that i had actually done 5km in 30 min that I kept running and was jumping around like a crazy person at 2AM, until I saw someone sleeping on a bench. (I worked nights cleaning at the time and would take the long way around town to work (6 km) the faster I went the sooner i could go home and sleep.

Most heroic thing I've ever done: When i was little my dad had turkeys. one of them got its head stuck in the chicken wire fence. My dad got its head out, and seperated it from the rest of the flock he said it would probably die because its head was swollen up and it couldnt see to eat or drink. every day after school i would go into the pen it was in and spend hours with it making sure it ate and drank. foe about 3 weeks. It survived, until my dad made them all into dinner.

Nicest thing I've ever done: Took my nephew out of foster care at 5 months, he's been with me ever since, and while he knows that his mom is his aunty he sees us as his mom and dad and brother and sisters and that's how we see him too.

Meanest thing I've ever done: Ratted out my sister to my parents for going to see a movie she wasn't allowed to see.

Other: Usually try to keep things light and cheery silly or weird but I'm willing to talk about serious stuff too especially if it will help someone else feel better. I used to play sword fight with my sisters, steal watermelons out of my parents garden with my cousin, and climb to the very top of a maple tree and swing it back and forth with my weight.

As a teenager I dealt with suicidal feelings. I got pregnant 5 months after getting married. When she was 8 months I got pregnant again, but miscarried. When she was 10 months we got custody of my nephew, and at the same time got pregnant again, at 12 weeks pregnant I started to bleed and thought I would loose that baby too, but he ended up being fine. I had 3 under 3 with no family to help and I didn't realize it at the time but had post partum depression that caused panic attacks and social anxiety problems so I avoided everyone that wanted to help. My nephew had major learning problems and I drove him to the city twice a week for medical appointments. He still has learning disabilities it's no longer called this but it would have been know as Asperger's syndrome. I miscarried again at some point after my second baby. in the summer of 2013 I found out I was pregnant again, which I really didn't want to be at that point, I was really scared about loosing another baby. the same day I found out I was pregnant my basement flooded with sewage, and we got a letter from the government saying that we had to repay them parental leave payments. We left the house as it was and jumped in the car took the kids to McDonnalds to play in a town that was an hour away. On the drive we decided to be excited about the new baby and came up with a name if it was a girl. A week later I started bleeding, and when I went for an ultrasound they said it was an ectopic pregnancy and I would have to take medicine to kill it or it would kill me... I was working nights and again had suicidal thoughts crying all night while I was alone cleaning. I hated myself. I prayed a lot. I decided that the only thing that could pull me out of my depression was to have another baby. And so now I have 4 kids. We moved closer to family when I was 8 months pregnant. My new neighbors (duplex) didn't like us because of our religion and after a year moved out and called social services saying that we were abusing our children. I had no idea when the social worker showed up I assumed it was just a check up because we had custody of my nephew. Had a really hard time after that trying to figure out if I was really a horrible person. I would have panic attacks over thinking every thing I said or replaying what people said to me over and over. I couldn't handle talking to strangers. Even if they were trying to be nice. The first year my nephew went to school he was bullied pushed down the stairs tripped in class etc. Talked to the principal but she was next to useless. I changed schools the next year when my other boy started. the youngest was being bullied on the bus, he was waking up at 2AM screaming and crying. He had a kid in grade 2 threatening to choke him to death. I went to the principal and again got no help for the bullying I drove my kids to school for the remaining 3 months and now I'm homeschooling.
