Eventually, Dhahabu bit down into the strange lion's neck so deep it severed her head from her body. Blood gushed out everywhere as she tossed her victim into the bushes for the buzzards.

The lion writhed a couple of times before falling dead.

Adayna had been frozen thru it all. "WOW." Was all she mustered.

Milo looked from Dha to the little dead lion and back several times.

Dhahabu panted and then sat on her haunches, shaking the ruby red blood from her coat. She was puzzled as to why a lion would randomly attack her, looking to her little group, she asked, "Why do you think she tried to kill me?"

Adayna walked over to her and sniffed. It was only then when you could see the worm-infested thinness of the small lion.
