When I was much younger I knew we had chickens. We had lots of “chicken” soup, stew, etc. It wasnt until I I was in my late teens that I even found out we also had rabbits and most of said chicken was actually rabbit.
As a teen I lived with my other grandparents and they’re the ones that would just do stuff while I was at school. I was allowed to do 4h for a year, but not allowed to have an animal. Idk y. So, whereas I’ve been around it my entire live, I’ve never participated or had any type of knowledge passed onto me. Extremely sad! Teach the next generation people! It is worth your while. (This comment isn't directed at the earlier conversation, just a frustrated vent about passing along knowledge in general)
