☺ "Comm. black pullet"? (Not Sexlinks!) ✔Photo Update!✔

Well, I have turkens but I am pretty sure that is not crossed with a turken. Pretty much Ameracauna and I think some yellow and black legged varieties will have green legged offspring. I will do some looking.

I didn't even know Turkens had the green legs. Yeah, she doesn't seem to be crossed with Turken.

Same here.. Two are colored very similar, they are the mostly black ones, with a little white spot on the wing tips.
They could pass for "twins"! lol And then, I have the original one I bought, and one that looks very similar..
Without the beige chin.

Here's the latest on mine. I got 4 of them, but not all are colored quite the same way. We shall see.

i have 4 chicks that are 4 weeks old that i bought at TSC, the bin was marked 'pullets' and had commercial black listed as one of the breed possibilities. I'm going to go out tomorrow and get some pics and post of the black ones, i bought 4 black, and 4 yellow chicks. i'm guessing the yellow ones are gonna grow to be white leghorns, but i really don't know. the black ones were black, with some yellow on their bellies and throats. 2 of them are looking to me like they'll turn into australorps, they have the spotting beginning on the feathers, the other two dont' seem to have the spots.
I'll try to get some good pics and post and we'll add some more to the guessing game we have here in this thread! these are the 'breed tbd' i'm listing in my sig for now, LOL

Aww how cute. I just visited TSC yesterday and went to their comm. black pullet bin... I found the cutest black silike so I scoped him up. Sadly she died during the night. I found another with 5 toes that was a beautiful coffee brown with lighter areas unknown if its a silike or not but it does have darker legs not black but more of a charcoal.

The others I picked up were just ya know... A mix of black australorp and barred rocks.

All those are doing great.
