*I think* Crashie's is more standard, but it could be dependent on age too... for showing, they do young pullets and old ducks (not really 'old', lol) because a lot of colors/patterns change as they age... doesn't matter though cuz both Trudi and Crash are just gorgeous!!





Mine have been muddifying the entire yard since all our rain brought out the wormies, en mass!

I wish I could get a pic of them flying. It always turns out blurry and the video is worse..
But it's such a beautiful sight!

I wish I could get a pic of them flying. It always turns out blurry and the video is worse..

I can never get a picture of mine flying! I try with the geese all the time, and they're not really flying so much as glide-flapping across the yard, and I still can't get a good picture of it

I tried with my goose too although some of the problem is his lack of grace!

That they are. Thanks for your expertise. The breeder they came from did say he paired Malcolm and Trudi up to cover each others' weak points, so I guess he did a good job at that!

It hasn't been an age thing, for Crash and Trudi, anyway. Trudi was even more brown when she was young, while Crash has always had nice eye stripes. This is both of them at about the same age (not sure exactly when Trudi hatched, so all I know for sure is she was in the range of 6-8 months old) :
