Well you know some sources just aren’t very trustworthy.
And maybe they thought it would be fun to scam you.

I did not. These were actually under a broody for the first few weeks. She racked up over 30 eggs at one point. I whittled them down to about 12 that looked close in development, then she got off the nest one day and didn’t go back. So I brought 8 inside not knowing exactly what day they were on (left 4 thinking she may still go back, but she didn’t). 6 survived for several days, 1 malpositioned one died yesterday after internally pipping backwards, 1 left to finish hatching, I’m assisting now.
