I buy it occasionally because they have some very nice flavor options. But I will admit that their ice cream is not as dense as I prefer.
Yeah it’s definitely somewhat soft/melt in your mouth and melts super fast in the bowl but I love the flavor/taste :love and they do have a lot of good flavors! Ben & Jerry’s is kind of the other end of the spectrum and super hard and impossible to eat till it melts some lol but also good.

I liked Haagen Dazs.
That is the good stuff :drool
I don’t think I’ve ever had that or else very rarely. I used to eat mostly Hood or Friendlys but I don’t really like Friendlys much anymore. Hood is good as is Turkey Hill. :love :drool

I’ve also had some of the supposedly “healthy” ice creams; low calorie or sugar and/or high protein, etc. but they are disgusting lol some of the dairy free ones are pretty good. Like the B&J one tastes just like their regular ice cream and the Planet Oat oat milk ones are pretty good. Coconut milk ones are nasty lol

Watch out for the Low fat ice creams. They typically have a much higher sugar content.

Thank you!! Good to know!! He only started crowing about 2 months ago so is that still considered recently or not really? He tried to come after me again today but I tossed my Croc near him 😂🤣 didn’t hit him or anything but just got him away cause he was considering trying again.
I think he'll be a little on the chewy side but I haven't tried to roast one at that age. The heritage breeds are pretty scrawny anyway (most of them) even full grown. I put a couple in the instant pot and cooked them--oh, an hour and a half? A long time anyway. DH complained they were tough. I didn't think so and he most likely wouldn't have either if he hadn't known they were roos. :lau I have been told heritage birds would have a more "chickeny" flavor. They tasted like chicken. 🤷‍♀️

Anyway I guess the moral would be, don't tell 'em it's a rooster. They'll love it. (Unless you roast/fry it...)

I didn’t realize that!! Thank you! :) I’m not sure what the sugar was in this one. Probably about the same or maybe a little lower but not sure. But I’d rather just eat real ice cream less often than eat that carp more often 😂🤣 It was so bad. My main problem with it was it just tasted so... light??? If that makes sense. Like it tasted like water 😂🤣🤮🤢

It’s so hard because he’s becoming so good with the girls and with chicks and he even protects my 3 month old chicks even though they’re in a separate coop and not related to him so idk what to do 😭😭

I don’t wanna be scared of him but he’s never actually made contact (yet) and he’s such a good protector so I just don’t know. :(

I should probably just put him down but I might wait until my other cockerel is a little bit more mature first.
I would be tempted too, with a rooster who did all the niceties for his girls. You don't have to do anything you don't want to--as long as he's not a danger to others--especially children.

I'm gonna process a bunch of roosters tomorrow, especially the head rooster. He's started attacking my hand when I put food into the small coop. Tonight he's getting that scrawny neck grabbed. I'll catch the others in the morning but I think it'll be easier to catch him tonight. Wish me luck. :lau :fl Maybe some gloves would be in order... 🤔

You really should process those extra quail boys, though. Are they crowing yet? Are you sure they're males?
