Mine get to run around all over too. I never have worried about their ages. The most important part is to age them properly before cooking them.

I like a good stuffed, roast chicken with all the trimmings including gravy, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, succotash, cranberries, etc.

Can we add stuffing to that ? Why do most people not like succotash ? I love it.

That was the very first thing mentioned. Without stuffing it, there is no point in roasting it.

OMG!! And I thought my broken air Conditioner was bad!! How do you survive that!??
Mine quit 2 days ago, runs nonstop and stays above 80 inside all day. You have it much worse than I do....
it’s been extremely difficult especially with over 8k steps and 29 flights stairs today!! my HR hasn’t gone below 100 in the office yet since it went out!!!

I like sherbet. Lots of sugar in the commercial ones, though. I can make a pretty passible one in the Cuisinart out of fake sugar and frozen berries with a bit of water or milk, but it's really noisy and makes a mess, so I don't do it very often
I haven't made sherbet or ice cream before, but I did make gelato once. I didn't use an ice cream maker -- I just put the mixture into a pan and stirred it every so often as it began to freeze.
It might not be as fluffy or smooth as the store-bought stuff, but the flavor is what I'm going for most of the time, anyway.

You really need to experience the joy of hand cranking an old ice cream machine and the unbelievable flavors from great homemade ice cream.

Very helpful! Thanks! How long do you rest them for? Like 3 days? Quail need to be rested too, right? Or no?

That sounds delicious!! :love

I love turkey with all that stuff! Except I’ve never heard of succotash and I’m not a huge cole slaw person hahah but chicken or turkey with potatoes, cranberry sauce, gravy, stuffing, etc.? Amazing. :love :drool

I also love mashed squash or sweet potato and also pie or Mac & cheese 😂🤣
