Grilled steak with ranch dressing -- yummy!

Ahem. I was making a funny. Ranch is no Bueno. Lost my taste for it a while back.

A nice large pat of butter on a steak is the way to go. I was surprised. Bacon wrapped with butter on top. Oh, my. The black pepper is good. A dab of Tabasco occasionally.

So Conan, how often do you get Elk steaks and when is dinner?

I don’t own a microwave. That’s how strongly I feel about not putting your food in one.

I use it a lot! You ever had warm buttered bread?

15-20 seconds is perfection. Soft, chewy, warm, delicious.

And sometimes I’m in too much of a hurry to wait for the tea kettle and put the bag in a mug with water and microwave it.

And I use it to reheat leftovers and stuff too. How do you reheat your food otherwise!?

Grilling is the only way to cook a steak -- unless it's cube steak, in which case we panfry it in some butter.

Ummm no... cast iron pan. You sear it then into the oven

I have cousins that love hunting AND me, so I always have elk in the freezer. Dinner is whenever you show up... you can pick my next hair color. It's white, and truly boring.
