What's the temperature where you are???

💯 oh this is so perfect. That’s exactly when I have to go outside to start letting out the birds 👍🏼

I stepped barefoot on a dead one once; it wasn't harmless. My foot blew up, got red and throbbed. Benadryl gel helped, but it just took some time to go away.
Oh no! 😱 That's awful. I'm scared of jellyfish. I've heard so many stories like yours about them. They're sort of fascinating and repulsive at the same time. They look like space aliens.

15°F, calm, partly cloudy.

It was 41°F yesterday afternoon, then it rained. Then the temp dropped to single digits, and it snowed. Then the wind came up, and we had a blizzard. Hundreds of cars are reported in the ditches.

Hubby's putting out sand on the deck, salt sand on the steps, and sand on the paths he made so I can get to the coops.

Australia is kinda like South Texas, everything will bite'ya, sting'ya, scratch'ya, or kill'ya!
Atlantic jellyfish will sting'ya, it hurts but won't kill'ya. Pacific jellyfish are more poisonous, especially, cube jellyfish, they will kill'ya!
Ahahaha, that's what we say about Arizona, too! Everything wants to bite, poke, or sting you.

Do you have those lovely tarantula hawks in Texas? They're 2 1⁄2 in. long wasps and have one of the most painful stings in the world. They are second only to the bullet ant on the Schmidt sting pain index.

I see them from time to time and give them a wiiiiiide berth but thankfully they aren't aggressive. Roadrunners are one of the few critters that can eat them. Meep meep!
