It wasn't so much painful as it was bloody. Scalp wounds bleed profusely.

I have Graves Disease. I wasn’t responding to anything and my thyroid was choking me out. At first they thought it was cancerous. I had to have emergency removal. I’m on levothyroxine now and hypothyroid most of the time.

You are lucky because the recovery is ridiculous. I had staples and stitches. I was itchy and cranky. Then going out in pubic was always fun.

hmm i don't either but thinking about what you would have to go through, i'll pass. The only scars i have are in my elbow and are from zits popped when i had Molluscum contagiosum, and from my sister.
