Good question. My grandmas was super sweet and hard. And the store bought stuff, already on the cake, I swear is shortening with sugar, thats it. I do like Duncan Hines though now that I think about it, its not too bad. Very sweet, but has actual taste.
I’ve never made any at home. Usually I use a light dusting of powdered sugar or a glaze. I havent made a bundt cake in a long time 🤔🤔
Anyone have a good spritz cookie recipe? 🤣
My family calls me Paula Deen.

I start with 3 sticks of softened butter, add only about a cup and a half of powdered sugar, then a tsp of vanilla (or 3ish T. cocoa or 1/4ish t. maple flavoring), then slowly add room temp whole milk or heavy cream until I get the consistency I want.

Very rich but not too sweet. Tons of flavor.
