She was such a clever girl. Once,when she was still a puppy, my brother was sitting at the edge of the couch eating dinner. Micky noticed that he was paying all his attention on the TV, so she took her paw and placed it at the edge of his plate to cause it to lean. She started eating straight off his plate! When he finally noticed, he cried out her name, but she started eating faster! Then she did a victory pug run around the living room.

Has she ever popped an eyeball?
That is the CRAZIEST thing.
Lola got all worked up because the giant was hogging the food bowl, turned around and her eyeball was out of it's socket. My 4 year old was afraid of her for about a month after that.

It is also what all great chat threads become Seriously, there was awhile back where you all were talking about quail, human babies, and several other things at the same time. I had just read a bunch of the babies comments when someone started talking about (quail) CAGES. Que 30 seconds of absolute confusion

I would have probably died.

I almost hit the floor. Then da husband was going to try to pop it back in himself so there was about 15 minutes of me running around the house yelling at him as I was holding her and trying to keep him away. It. Was. Chaos.
I took her to the vet, eyeball was saved.
Poor puglet.

Sounds about exactly like what would have happened here.
I would have been yelling at the Mex to fix and it would have been his fault yet I wouldn't let him touch the dog.

Luckily this has never happened to me, although I know it's a possibility. Micky did scratch her cornea running straight into a bush with her eyes open. It didn't even phase her.
